- If you missed my last post, Keith Olbermann was suspended without pay on Friday for donating to Democratic candidates (and not telling the president of the company). GREAT NEWS!!! He'll be back on Tuesday, suspension is over!! Over 300,000 people, including many notable celebrities, rallied behind Olbermann, sending petitons, calling, emailing, flooding Twitter & Facebook with messages... Way to go, guys!! I can't wait until Tuesday's show. I have a feeling it's going to be very interesting...
- Um... Honestly, I'm not really sure what's going on in the world right now. I've been either at work, or in my house attempting to write a novel.
- Oh yea. We had an election... It sucked. We lost a lot of great progressive voices - Grayson, Feingold, (that other guy whose name as completely slipped my mind...). And the GO-TP has taken over the House. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Too depressing.
- I missed NSFW Sunday on Autostraddle, didn't I... (Don't ask me why I enjoy reading that, cuz I just do. I think my mind is trying to undo all of the damage done from years of reading Cosmo religiously. Plus reading things like this helps with writing stories like this one, since I haven't the first clue about these kinds of things... Also, I'm pretty sure I'm the only girl lurking on the site who has no idea what "auto-straddle" even means. [runs over to see what's going on...] Oh hey, look, that's what this Sunday's topic is... A tutorial on autostraddling. O_o How insanely ironic...This has been a fucking weird day.)
- Um...Oh, I know-- Texas wants to opt out of Social Security. 42 out of 1050 people (4%) who read & voted on the Care2 post agreed. 1% is leaning yes, 2% is leaning no. The other 94% of us, or 987 out of 1050, say no fucking way.
- I'm really tired of people painting all independents as conservative, flip-flopping idiots who can't make up their minds regarding specific social & economic issues and viable solutions. (That, dear friends, is the TEA PARTY. Duh.) This Progressive Indie just doesn't want to be formally affiliated with a specific party. This Indie votes Democrat (unless a better option comes along).

(Lazy) Sunday Updates
This will be pretty short, because I'm exhausted & in the middle of NaNo. (Tonight was awesome- hammered out almost 2000 words, & I'm now only 2000 words behind instead of 4,000! Yay! So if I keep up my streak, I'll be back on schedule in just a few days!)
